Sony’s latest invention is a ten inch big tablet which is hardly 6.9 mm thick thus leaving behind the iPad in terms of thickness. The processor is an impressive 1.5 GHz quad core, snapdragon S4 processor along with a 2GB RAM. This ensures that users will never find the tablet slowing down no irrespective of all the processes that may be running on the tablet.

Sony has preloaded an unlimited movies and music service which will be free for 60 days after which a subscription will be required for this service. Moreover, users can also access Sony’s PlayStation store via this device. The infrared sensors present in this device allow it to act as a controller not only for Sony Televisions and devices but for devices from a long list of companies!

On top of it, the device is waterproof. Yes, all its external ports are protected by rubber covers and the device can be kept under 1 meter of water for up to 30 seconds!

To us, the device seems truly awesome. It looks like Sony might finally be back in the game after all.
